"A corpse is meat gone bad. Well and what's cheese? Corpse of milk." — James Joyce.
Séloge
Left: Start of a route at Seloge.
Séloge is one of those 'secret' spots that is not really in fashion: probably because the routes on this cliff are too 'easy' for many climbers. Nice low-angled slabs with mostly grade 5 routes. Perfect to start a season or get back in shape after an injury.
Right: Summit of a route at Seloge.
Left: Nice easy crack to take a break from all the slab climbing.
Right: The usual far of slab at Seloge.
Left: More slab climbing.
Right: The slabs are actually very large flakes...
Left: The valley with its narrow road. Cars are allowed but discouraged.
Much faster to walk down than to rappel off. And if you are there at the right time of the year, you'll find plenty of blackberries. We had enough to make a pie in the evening.
